Following the Wayra demoDay in Madrid, leading global online technology publication The Next Web and its European Editor, Robin Wauters, will be hosting a late-afternoon event in the same, centrally-located venue.
We’re pretty sure most people in the audience will have seen enough startup pitches from Wayra portfolio companies by the time we start (around 7 PM), so instead we’re going to feature three or four great speakers, who will each be delivering a brief but memorable 15-20 minute keynote.
Our kick-ass speakers:
- Robin Wauters (aka me), European Editor of The Next Web
- Luis Cabiedes, super angel investor and part-time lecturer at IESE
- Joe Haslam, chairman of Hot and professor at IE Business School
- Inma Martinez, serial entrepreneur in the mobile industry since 2000
After the keynote sessions we’ll go upstairs for some casual networking and drinks. Later that evening (around 9 PM), we’ll go to a separate venue nearby for even more casual networking, maybe some tapas and more drinks.
